Here is everything that you need to know about how to get your hands on the coveted bags in WoW Classic.
If you have been sat pondering how WoW Classic bags work, then you’re in luck. The following article will be taking a closer look at how you can utilize them to your advantage.
Questing and Drops
You don’t want to be going through quests, hearing that your inventory is suddenly full. So, to get started, get yourself to level 10 so you can start earning WoW Classic bags. You can get these from the likes of the “Carry Your Weight” or “Poor Old Blanchy” for Horde or Alliance, respectively, which will give you a four-slot bag when you have finished them. As you continue to progress, you will be getting bags in Classic WoW with up to 16 slots as you get to level 60.
This isn’t the only way for you to get WoW Classic bags. Whilst you are out traversing the world, you will be able to get them as drops. You won’t expect these drop rates to be high since nothing really is in World of Warcraft, but you will be able to find them simply through exploration. Between levels 39-53, you will find bags in Classic WoW, such as the Journeyman’s Backpack, which has 14 slots. There is also the Traveler’s Backpack, which holds 16 slots and is available from levels 47-60.
Alternatively, you can also buy a backpack from vendors that sell them as well. You will need to keep an eye on your WoW Classic gold as well since it plays such a pivotal role in the game, so you may want to wait and see if you manage to find a bag in the game itself.
Using Your Professions
Specifically, this applies to Leatherworking and Tailoring. Having either of these professions will allow you to craft WoW Classic bags yourself. You can use Tailoring to make a Linen Bag once you have reached level 45 to create it. To do so, you will also need three bolts of Linen Cloth plus Coarse Thread, though you have to buy the latter from a vendor.
Meanwhile, if you have opted for Leatherworking, you can get your skill up to level 40 and make a Kodo Hide Bag with six slots. You will need Coarse Thread again, as well as Kodo Leather and Four Light Leather.
Whichever kind of bag you choose, you could then potentially sell them over at the auction house to garner some profit from them. They are bound to sell, and you can keep the ones you need to help expand your inventory.
Using Alt-Characters
You could always use the technique of having alt-characters as well. This is where players will get themselves to a higher level and will want to keep valuable items that they may need. You don’t need to worry about what levels you are at either, meaning that you can give your other character any of your bags in Classic WoW for their inventory to be used.
Bank Storage
There is, of course, the option of banks too. You can use these in the capital cities to store up to 24 items if you wish. This is a good alternative if you don’t want to get rid of items you may need later on. You can have a total of six bag slots as well in the bank that you can buy if you want to increase the inventory. You will need to pay a different price for the slots that you wish to use. So, for example, the first slot will cost 10 silver, the second slot will cost 1 gold, and the third slot will cost 10 gold. For the other three slots, you will need to pay 25 gold for each.
When you are going about your business in World of Warcraft Classic, the last thing you want to be doing is worrying about inventory space. Imagine you are running through vast fields, killing mobs and racking up that WoW Classic gold and items that you have been craving, only to be met with a message stating that your inventory is full. You may have gotten to a point where your inventory is filled to the brim with items that you don’t need, thereby not leaving any room for the items that you actually do need.
That being said, it isn’t as if bags in WoW Classic are uncommon in the game. You will find from the methods above that it isn’t really a struggle to find WoW Classic bags at all. You have various options from making them yourselves or coming across them on your many adventures. You have also got the bonus of being able to sell them as well for a decent profit. So please don’t overlook the World of Warcraft Classic bags in the popular MMORPG title, as they will serve you very well.
