Trash above us in the orbits

We are always worried about the neatness wherever it might be, on the roads , atmosphere, at home, work place. Pollution has its root everywhere in many different forms like air pollution , water pollution and land pollution. There is one more place which is getting polluted without our knowledge is space. There are numerous countries which have launched satellites to space and even to moon. Satellites revolve around the earth, other planets and other extra terrestrial object and send information to earth about the space and its forms. We also hear about failure missions or expired missions which means some satellite has been launched from earth but that is not doing the job that it is supposed to do. This clearly shows that the satellite is a waste or dust over the space. What would happen in another decade when all the countries start sending. satellites and manned missions to the space. The space may become a garbage dump with all the waste materials. Space astronauts and aeronautical engineers are worried about this lately. They also feel the waste materials over the space might pose a threat to the working satellites and manned missions . Recently there was such…

The Artificial Intelligent Eyeborg is Stunning!

You probably have heard about Cyborg before, but how about “Eyeborg”? Do you have any idea, what the Eyeborg is? The two talented bionic engineers, Rob Spence and Kosta Grammatis have trying to make history by embedding a video camera and a transmitter in a prosthetic eye. The artificial eye is going to be embedded in Rob’s eye socket. Then, it will be used to record the world from a perspective that we all didn’t even seen before! The amazing part about this “Eyeborg” is you can put the eye on and talking with your family members, friends or even strangers. The thing is, they won’t know that the eye is an artificial intelligent eye, where it has a tiny wireless video camera in it. You can use it to record every movement of everything you see in front of you! By using this magnificent Eyeborg, you can use it for recording a documentary, especially when you’re situating in some public places, where the digital camera is not allow to be carried into it. “Since the Eyeborg is about the size of a pea, that’s why most people won’t able to notice it at all while you’re wearing it.” Spence…

Ellipse Wings it’s Retro Time!

You’re one of the big fan of Retro airplane and you’ve a lot of collection of antique airplane replicas? Then, this Ellipse Wings is going to make you excited… Do you know that in Belarus, they’re still using those airplanes with Ellipse wings? According to the local pilots, they said it has a few benefits comparing to the simple or double winged planes. One of the biggest advantages of it is the wing can be less in size and it’s more firm. Since the Ellipse wing form is self-sustaining, there are now air vortexes by the sides of the wings, where it gives up to 30% increase in power compared to the traditional airplanes! For your information, the Ellipse wing is actually the concept derived from Elliptical wing, where is a wing planform shape and it first seen on aircraft in the 1930s. Most of the elliptical taper shortens the chord near the wingtips that all parts of the wing experience equivalent downwash. It lifts at the wing tips and improving aerodynamic efficiency due to a greater induced drag equation. To be honest, it would be even better, if you’re able to drive this Ellipse Wings and soaring on the…

What Is An Atomic Clock?

An atomic clock is a kind of a clock that utilizes atomic resonance frequency as its time keeping feature. These clocks show the exact time and frequency standards and are identified as the primary standards for international time and also to manage and organize the frequency of the television broadcasts and GPS satellite services. Atomic clock uses the resonance frequency of atoms as its resonator. A resonator is operated by the frequency of the micro wave electromagnetic radiation absorbed or emitted by the energy change of the molecule or atom. Thus an atomic clock generates standard frequencies. These are installed at various sites to show time signals. Alpha navigation transmitters and LORAN C. Atomic clocks are very useful in long wave and short wave broadcasting stations in order to deliver a exact frequency which can act as standard frequency. Also, atomic clocks have been used in long-baseline interferometer in radio-astronomy.

Technologies That Fight Global Warming

Global warming is a great threat to people and earth. It is an increase in the earth’s surface air and the oceans. Earth now finds it difficult to breathe because of the concentration of the green house gases. Green house gases are essential to the earth’s environment. It effectively traps heat in the lower atmosphere and radiates the heat the earth needs. Without green house gases, our earth’s temperature would be 0o F or -18oC instead of 57°F or 14°C. Are we aiding to the enhancement of the green house gases or going against it and making it worse? Man has caused the most damage to the green house gases. Human activities through combustion of oil, coal and gas have increased the concentration of green house gases in the atmosphere. Pollution is the biggest man made problem. Another main problem for the cause of global warming is population. In order to fight global warming, scientists have found different ways to solve the problem. The use of technology in fighting global warming is one of the means to reduce global warming.

Use of Nanotechnolgy

People are very much astonished by the fact that people can engineer at the level that is not at all imagined. Nanotechnology provides the user to play with variety of components present in the world. The nanoscience engraves certain unique features associated with the development of science. It revolves around certain intricate topics such as manufacturing at nano level, then engineering of components at nano level. This may involve improved skill set from the working community. The works of various researchers involve use of nano technology in day today life. The people all around the world may appreciate use of Nanotechnology in production of carbon tubes used for various engineering applications if it is feasible. But it is known that use of nanotechnolgy in to produce such a small component is practically impossible but this statement is proved wrong in recent years.

Mind/Though Controlled Robot Arms

Human mind is an excellent feature in God’s creation. Only with our mind, our body parts are controlled and made to do certain activities. Thus when a person is brain dead, he is not able to move his body or lift his arms and legs. Mind is the main thing needed to make the whole body function more effectively. Now, according to the new research study, human mind can control robot arms. Robot arms are fitted to persons who have lost theirs in an accident or through some other means. For those who are handicapped, just a mere robot arm which does actions only when a button is pressed doesn’t help. So in order to make a more efficient and effective robot arm, scientists have created a robot arm that can be controlled by the person’s mind. Mind is used now though to control robot arms. The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago introduced the first woman to be fitted with robot arms or bionic arm technology.
